On March 17 to 18, 2022, PSA RSSO 4A conducted an online training for the hired Birth Registration Agents in CALABARZON.

This is to prepare the agents who will guide and assist in the processing of the delayed registrations of births of unregistered Filipinos.

Resource speakers from RSSO IV-A and PSA Cavite tackled the Basic Concepts and Procedures on Civil Registration, PhilSys and Birth Registration Assistance MOA, the memo on the hiring of Birth Registration Agents and the use of PhilCRIS during the training.

With the bright aim to provide good quality of service on increasing the level of civil registration of Indigenous People, Muslim Filipinos, the trainers ensures that the Birth Registration Agents are readily prepared to take hand the project thru interactive discussion and collaborative activities.

With an estimated 2 million target nationwide, CALABARZON targets to assist 251 thousand Filipinos. BRA is said to act as the focal person for the PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project in the region/province.
