With District 301-A2 Governor Maria Jesusa W. Antiporda 4PMJF as keynote speaker, and DENR Undersecretary Benny A. Antiporda 3PMJF as Guest of Honors and Main Speaker, the officers of the San Pablo City (Host) Lions Club for Lion Year 2021-2022 led by President Vincent D. dela Vega MJF were formally inducted into office during the commemoration of the club’s 69th Anniversary and 70TH Induction Ceremonies held at their clubhouse along Dagatan Boulevard in Barangay V-A last Sunday, March 13, 2022.
Undersecretary Benny A. Antiporda, himself is a Lion, is the Immediate Past District Governor of Lions Clubs International District 301-A2 that have jurisdiction over the clubs I n the Province of Laguna.
As mentioned, they were formally inducted, because in accordance with the Manual of Procedures of Lions Clubs International, they automatically assumed theirs positions last July 1, 2021, as they have already taken their oath of office during the District Mass Induction held last June, making Lion Vincent D. dela Vega MJF as the new King of the Pride of Lions in the Lake Territory.
Other club officers for Lion Year 2021-2022 are: Lion Jerry Chua, MJF, Immediate Past President; Lion Darryl Jourdan Wong, 1st Vice President; Lion Richard Benson Tan, 2nd Vice President; Lion Jose Miguel Alvero, 3rd Vice President; Lion PP Alfredo B. Tongson, Secretary; Lion PP Apolinar Cortez, MJF, Treasurer; Lion PP Eduardo E. Tabayoyong, Auditor; Lion Ariel (Boy) Garcia, Lion Tamer; and Lion PP Billy Baldag Calalo, Tail Twister.
