“

Honesty is the Best Policy.”

It’s a cliché but still it is relevant nowadays. Probably, every child learns this teaching from their parents. Although honesty is being learned at home, school must need to emphasize further the needs to be honest at all times.

Our home and school are the places where a child learns moral ethics. Thus, the education system should ensure to include some essential habits and practices to keep a child close to morality.Children must be instructed right from the beginning and their childhood to practice honesty. It is necessary for us to rethink and remodel; that we bring the honesty back in society so that everything goes in a natural manner.

Therefore, Plaridel Elementary School proudly presents the “Honesty Store!- Kantinang Tapat at Sapat”. The faculty staff created their own stores design for creativity. It is a self- service store the items are all priced, learners are free to browse and purchase items that are for sale, prices are fixed and there are no shopkeepers to serve and take their payments; the idea is that students are game enough to add the correct and change for the items they bought. The main objectives of this activity is to instill a good sense of citizenship that cultivate the honesty of the students and a goal to make honesty a habit. A habit becomes a virtue that will shape the character of the person. So, no matter where she goes, whatever work she involved in, she will always side with her good moral values.
