Kauna-unahang Convention ng National Alliance of Cooperatives, naging matagumpay

Ginanap sa isang hotel sa Parañaque City noong October 7 hanggang October 8, 2022 ang Kauna-unahang National Alliance of Cooperatives Convention sa pangunguna ni NAC President Retired Major General Gilbert Llanto.

Ang two- day convention ay dinaluhan ng Cooperative Development Authority sa pamumuno ni CDA Chairman Usec. Joseph Encabo kasama sina Asec.Myrla Paradillo, Asec Vidal Villanueva III, Asec. Virgilio Lazaga, MD, Asec. Pendatun Disimban, Asec. Abad Santos, at Asec. Abdulsalam Guinomla gayundin ng tinatayang nasa pitumpu’t siyam na officers mula sa mga Regional Cluster Organization at Sectoral Apex Organization sa ilalim ng National Alliance of Cooperatives.

Full force ding dumalo sa NAC Convention ang anim na pangulo ng Sectoral Apex Organizations na kinabibilangan nina Retired Major General Gilbert Llanto na siya ring Pangulo ng Human Services Cluster, Fr. Anton CT Pascual para sa Education and Advocacy Cluster, Atty. Mickel Borigas para sa Finance Cluster, Mr. Danilo Llena para sa Consumers, Marketing, Producers, and Logistics Cluster, Mr. Freddie Hernandez para sa Public Utilities, at Dr. Divina Quemi para sa Agriculture Sector.

Naging makabuluhan at produktibo ang ginawang National Alliance of Cooperatives Convention kung saan nagkaroon ng malalim na talakayan at konsultasyon sa pagitan ng NAC at C-D-A tungo sa mas maayos na direksiyon ng sektor ng kooperatiba sa buong bansa.

Inihayag ni President Retired Major General Gilbert Llanto na ang isinagawang NAC Convention ay isang magandang simula para tuluyang magkaroon ng boses at puwang ang cooperative movement sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.

Bukod sa joint plenary sessions sa pagitan ng CDA at NAC, kabilang sa mga naging highlight ng Convention ang presentasyon ng NAC strategic direction at paglulunsad ng NAC Consultative Mechanism Framework.

Nagpalitan ng statements of commitment ang National Alliance of Cooperative at Cooperative Development Authority sa katatapos lamang na NAC Convention noong October 7-8 sa lungsod ng Parañaque.

Sa naging pahayag ng dalawang partido ay kanilang tiniyak ang patuloy na pagtutulungan para mabigyang katuparan ang inilatag nilang long-term strategic at development plan tungo sa mas agresibo at demand driven na Cooperative Sector sa Pilipinas.

Samantala, ayon kay NAC President Retired Major General Gilbert Llanto, isa lamang ang 3-day NAC convention sa mga panimulang hakbangin ng National Alliance of Cooperatives para makamit ang makabuluhan at samasamang pag-unlad ng lahat ng mga kooperatiba sa bansa.
