Majayjay Sub- Office conducts DSLAC on Strengthening Direction on Instructional Support Across Learning Areas

In its effort to assist schools in their journey towards Learning Recovery, Majayjay Sub-office conducted seminar workshop on “Capacity Building on Strengthening Instructional Support” for 12 schools in Majayjay on November 22, 2022 at Majayjay Elementary School at 1 oclock in the afternoon at Gabaldon Building. This activity aimed to; provide technical support to 12 schools in the implementation of their Learning Recovery Actions; coach and mentor school heads in managing Learning Recovery Actions leading to the achievement of their performance outcome and strengthen school leaders’ capability to manage respective learning recovery actions to improve performance and get quality results.

The program started with an audio-visual presentation of the nationalistic song and opening prayer. It was followed by the roll call of attendees led by the Teaching-in-charge of Bukal Elementary School, Mrs. Laarni Gruezo. For the roll call, each school sang a Christmas song and was followed by stating their projects for reading and mathematics. Next was the welcome remarks given by the Mrs. Maricar A. Afuang, Principal II MAJES. For the continuation, Mrs. Ana R. Reblora gave her Inspirational message. After that, the seminar proper started. Mrs. Melody O. Gonzaga, Teacher-in-Charge of SCINHS Annex introduced the speakers. Mrs. Angelita U. Suerte, Principal I of Suba Elementary School- Munting Kawayan was the first speaker where she discussed the Fundamentals of Literacy. The second speaker was Dr. Alberto B. Imata, Head Teacher I of Suba National High School werein she discussed about the Fundamental Skills in Numeracy and Techniques in Providing Instructional Supports. After the discussion, the participants were given a workshop where they created an Instructional Support Plan. Each school head were given an opportunity to present their outputs. The program ended with a challenge given by Mrs. Ana R. Reblora for all the school heads.
