In ’72, the seed was sown,
A dream to give a school its own,
Sampaloc Barangay High took flight,
A beacon in the morning light.
From Morong’s roots, it grew and thrived,
With fifty students, hopes revived.
Avelina and Filemon, they led the way,
Guiding young minds day by day.
Emelita then took the helm,
Steering through a challenging realm.
Vivian Castro, with steady hand,
Carved the future from the land.
Through trials faced and hurdles high,
The school stood firm, reaching the sky.
Funds were scarce, but hearts were true,
The community knew just what to do.
In ’86, a change was nigh,
Sampaloc High was nationalized.
No longer just a barangay’s pride,
It soared on wings, nation-wide.
New lands were gained, a campus grand,
With classrooms built upon the sand.
From Signal Village, it took its place,
A testament to grit and grace.
Principals came, each left their mark,
Guiding the school through light and dark.
From Fernandez to Esquierdo’s reign,
Their efforts never were in vain.
K to 12 brought new careers,
Vocational tracks and academic tiers.
And with a name that now shines bright,
Tanay-Sampaloc, a guiding light.
Through decades past and those to come,
The mission clear, the work not done.
Educating youth, a noble quest,
In Sampaloc’s halls, they find their best.
So here’s to the school, its legacy grand,
Built by many, hand in hand.
The future calls with promise wide,
With Sampaloc’s spirit as our guide.
