He became a key player for the Saint Clare Junior Saints during the NAASCU juniors division competition where they won as champions for 2018. In Project: Game Plan Holiday Hoops 3-on-3 basketball game, Abed showed his defensive and offensive skills as he helped his team Veneno sweep the elimination rounds of their bracket in the tournament. Abed’s other achievements in the world of basketball include winning as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in YA basketball tournament, Best Player of the Game and MVP in their barangay basketball tournament.

For his acting career, he already starred in a Viva Films movie and an online series. In 2021, he landed a lead role in GMA 7’s Magpakailanman Christmas episode. His ambition in life is to be a professional basketball player and a successful actor someday.
