A successful school is not only about teaching. Its beyond on evolving and supporting an education that is well in imparting knowledge but also delivering effective administration and operations.
Yes, it is also about how you run and manage it along with the desired educational policies. Where managing includes addressing all the aspects and resources necessary for the schools’ delivery of educational programs; human resources, financial resources as well as material resources.
Managing a school, therefore, is not an easy task. As said, it considers balancing all the available resources and managing school affairs converting into a fruitful whole. It involves complex process like planning, organizing, directing, and controlling such human and material resources for the purpose of achieving the mission and goals of the school.
Needless to say, good management is about making best use of resources that in the end will result to an orderly integration of education and society, bringing out the best in everyone.
Meanwhile, school management is always a continuous process. Tagheting improvement and development of the learners and the entire institution should be non-stop. The spirit of serving the learners and helping one another should be alive at all times. And since, the scope of school management is so vast. School heads are not the only the one involved in the process. It also involves all the member of the school community. And every member must do their part. Functions of each must be clearly oriented to ensure direction and systematic execution of developmental plans. The success of these plans lies on each realizing and putting into actions their respective goals and functions in service of the school.
Furthermore, accelerating learners, upskilling teachers, productive parent /stakeholders involvement and consideration of the released guidelines must also be put into consideration.
Nowadays, several modern principles and techniques in handling school are already introduced by the department. Thus, effective distribution and coordination of these guidelines and principles must be obtained foremost so that there will be an assurance of having best results and that ultimate goodwill of school is achieved.
