Sambalilo Festival ng Cavinti, isang dekada na!

Punong-puno ng ngiti ang mga mamamayan ng Cavinti, Laguna sa paggunita ng ika-isang dekada ng Sambalilo Festival mula Agosto 1 hanggang 7.
Unang araw ay isinagawa ang Pandan tree planting na siyang pinagkukunan ng ginagawang sambalilo, bayong at iba pa. Sinundan ito ng Grand Tilapyaan at DepEd Night.
Ikalawang araw ay higit na sabik na inabangan ng lahat pagpapabagsak ng confetti na mula sa tatlong private helicopter na hudyat ng pagbubukas ng pinakamalaking sambalilo sa buong mundo.
Isinagawa rin ang ribbon cutting para sa mga barangay booth, cookfest, fruit carving, pabilisan ng paglalala ng sambalilo, pinakamagarang purok, modernong paglalala, at patimpalak para sa baluarte.
Ginanap din ang Sambalilo Pro-Am Golf Day, Zumbalilo, Palarong Pinoy, Sambalilo  4×4 Challenge, Iarangkada Mo Sayaw Mo, Motor Show, Governor’s Night , Fun Run, Pagkilala sa mga Natatanging New Professional, at Pinakamaganda at Magarang Lola at Lolo. Nagkaroon din ng Brass Band Competition, Ginoo at Bibining Cavinti 2024, at Sambaliluhan Gabi ng Pasasalamat .
Ayon kay Mayor Arantlee Arroyo, ipinagdiwang nila ang ika-10 taong Sambalilo Festival at ika-405 Araw ng Cavinti na may pagmamalaki sa turismo ng Cavinti at maipakita ang pinaka malaking sambalilo hindi lamang sa Pilipinas  kundi  sa buong mundo.
Aniya, ang selebrasyon ay pagpapasalamat sa kanilang patron El Salvador Del Mundo, gayundin ang pagbigay ng kaligayahan sa mga mamamayan at mga stakeholders na patuloy na tumutulong para magkaroon ng garantisadong progreso ang bayan ng Cavinti.
