PSA IV-A to release 2018-2021 Provincial Product Accounts in 5 provinces and HUC in CALABARZON

Philippine Statistics Authority IV-A will officially release Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) for 5 provinces and HUC in CALABARZON for the years 2018 to 2021 on December 12-16, 2022.

Through the Macroeconomic Accounts Service under the Sectoral Statistics Office, and in collaboration with the Provincial Statistical Offices and Provincial Planning and Development Office, PPA dissemination forum is scheduled to be conducted as follows:

• Batangas: December 12, 2022 1:30 PM -5:00 PM
• Cavite: December 13, 2022 1:30 PM -5:00 PM
• Laguna: December 14, 2022 1:30 PM -5:00 PM
• Quezon and City of Lucena: December 15, 2022 8:30 AM -12:00 NN
• Rizal: December 16, 2022 8:30 AM -12:00 NN

The Provincial Product Accounts or the PPA will provide a suitable measure of the economic performance at the provincial level and as a source of indicators to monitor the economic development or progress at the local level. It is regarded as a means to strengthen the planning, decision-making and crafting economic policies of the policymakers and stakeholders.

Provincial Product Accounts is not only an undertaking of the PSA, but also a collaboration among data users and data producers. PSA RSSO IV-A is grateful to its partners and data providers for their full support and cooperation in sustaining data requirements for a more timely, accurate, and relevant economic accounts at the provincial level.

Detailed indicators of the Provincial Gross Domestic Product and Gross City Domestic Product will be posted at the following websites by the respective Provincial Statistical Offices:
Batangas – http://rsso04a.psa.gov.ph/batangas
Cavite – http://rsso04a.psa.gov.ph/cavite
Laguna – http://rsso04a.psa.gov.ph/laguna
Quezon and City of Lucena – http://rsso04a.psa.gov.ph/quezon
