NU Bulldogs cager Edmund Dela Cruz ready for UAAP season 87

Toughness, perseverance and determination are indelible traits that drive athletes to overcome obstacles in life. On the court as in life, this young athlete epitomizes the kind of resiliency that dreams are made of. Meet the future basketball star in Edmund Arvin Dela Cruz of the NU Bulldogs.

 

Born Edmund Arvin P. Dela Cruz on October 1, 2000 in Las Piñas City, 6-foot-2 National University students is currently in his 2nd year college. He plays for the National University Bulldogs as a forward.

Asked how he balances his basketball and studies, “priority is to get enough rest to perform well on basketball and studies. I balance my time by being strict on time when it comes to my schedules”, said Mun mun as he is fondly called.

 

His most unforgettable game is the NCRAA 29th Season game against ICC in the round robin the game in which he scored 32 points and listed 20 rebounds in the game in which they have won by a game winning shot from his teammate. His idol in the NBA is Kawhi Leonard while in the PBA, he looks up to Scottie Thompson of Ginebra. “Both grit and grind maglaro and all out sa loob ng court”, he added. His ambition in life is to be financially stable and to have an easy life. Catch him on his games this UAAP season 87.
