Born Edmund Arvin P. Dela Cruz on October 1, 2000 in Las Piñas City, 6-foot-2 National University students is currently in his 2nd year college. He plays for the National University Bulldogs as a forward.
Asked how he balances his basketball and studies, “priority is to get enough rest to perform well on basketball and studies. I balance my time by being strict on time when it comes to my schedules”, said Mun mun as he is fondly called.
His most unforgettable game is the NCRAA 29th Season game against ICC in the round robin the game in which he scored 32 points and listed 20 rebounds in the game in which they have won by a game winning shot from his teammate. His idol in the NBA is Kawhi Leonard while in the PBA, he looks up to Scottie Thompson of Ginebra. “Both grit and grind maglaro and all out sa loob ng court”, he added.
