The Philippine Statistics Authority, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has resumed the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys)/National ID registration and authentication process for beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and their families.
This initiative, which originally ran from February to March in Laguna, aims to simplify the verification process and improve overall service delivery by integrating the National ID system with the 4Ps.
On 15 July 2024, Mr. Christian E. Espiritu, PhilSys Laguna’s Focal Person (FP), met with the Provincial Link to discuss the schedule for continuing the registration and authentication process. This initial meeting was followed by additional discussions with city/municipal links and the PhilSys Registration Center Supervisors.
The registration efforts during Family Development Sessions (FDS) are set to resume this August.
