September 14, 2024 marked the first training session of the annual “Livelihood Training Program” hosted by DepEd Division of  San Pablo City-Alternative Learning System (ALS). The program intends to open doors by enhancing the socioeconomic well-being of marginalized and vulnerable populations, particularly ALS pass holders and other societal segments. There were four classes offered: Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Bread and Pastry, Computer Servicing, and Dressmaking. Training will take place in Crecencia Drucila Training Center, Joel Town Subdivision Brgy. San Roque San Pablo City for ten Saturdays in a row.  Participants can obtain their National Certificates (NCs) from TESDA after a rigorous examination process. NCs are granted to individuals who have demonstrated their competence in a particular field.
