STA. CRUZ, Laguna – Governor Ramil L. Hernandez and Congresswoman Ruth M. Hernandez supported the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) – Laguna in the distribution of Emancipation Patents and Certificates of Land Ownership Award (ECs/CLOAs) to Laguna Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), held at the Laguna Cultural Center on 25 June 2024.
A total of 256 CLOAs were awarded, as well as farm machinery such as one unit of a 3-wheeler cargo vehicle, one wood chipper, and three automatic electric knapsack sprayers under the Climate Resistant Farm Productivity Support (CRFPS) Sustainable Livelihood Support for Disaster Affected Areas Program of DAR.
Moreover, the Mayatba Farmers Association of Famy, Laguna also received a 4×4 multicab delivery pickup type vehicle in support of its vegetable farming livelihood program.
DAR officials emphasized that the objective of the awarding of ECs/CLOAs is to provide proof of ownership, not to mention enhancing productivity and increasing the value of the land awarded to each farmer beneficiary. (Photo by Jun Sapungan/Laguna PIO)
