ABSTRACT
In traditional setting there is a live interaction wherein teachers are able to present and explain the lessons with the use of different tangible and intangible materials so learners are well guided but due to pandemic, face to face is not possible therefore there is a need for new strategies in delivering distance learning using E- learning resources to ensure the delivery of quality education. According to Zare, et al.(2019), the use of electronic technologies has led to the development of educational opportunities and helps students develop their skills. Moreover, it is also stated in the DepEd order No. 31, series of 2012, entitled “Policy Guidelines on the Implementation of Grade 1 to 10 of the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum (BEC)” under the Learning/Teaching Resources that module shall be provided as the basic learning resources in teaching. Schools with connectivity, web-based resources and video materials are encourage to be used to enrich and deepen students’ understanding. Due to the mentioned situation, E-learning resources are necessary for the learners to access educational videos and video lectures, reading e-books, online articles, slides, online text and documents, and blogs that are made and chosen by the teachers. Each resource is said to be aligned to the learning competencies and objectives as defined in in the researcher’s conceptualized Project REUsE-LR (Remain Educated Using E-Learning Resources). The study attempted to answer the questions (1)What is the academic performance of selected Grade five pupils in terms of written performance in Science for first quarter?  (2) What is the academic performance of selected grade five pupils in terms of Science written performance results for second quarter to fourth quarter after the implementation of Project REUsE-LR (Remain Educated Using E-Learning Resources)? and (3) Is there a significant relationship in the implementation of Project REUsE-LR in the result of the Science written performance of the selected grade five pupils? Descriptive method was used to analyze the data of selected Grade five learners in Santa Cruz Elementary School. The study was done through the monitoring of Mean Percentage Score (MPS) from the pupils written performance such as the summative tests. There was a significant increase in the achievement rate of selected Grade five learners after the implementation of Project REUsE-LR therefore, researchers recommend to intensify the implementation of Project REUsE-LR(Remain Educated Using E-Learning Resources) until fourth quarter.
