The Catch-up Friday, DepEd Order No. 1, 2024. According to the implementation order, children can have a variety of reading materials “to avoid imposing additional costs on students, teachers, and even parents.” It is a weekly learning intervention program that requires schools to devote half of their time to reading activities and the other half to values, health, and peace education. A learning mechanism designed to develop the foundational, social, and other abilities required to achieve the basic education curriculum’s objectives.
Transitional education program for children and adolescents who were actively attending school prior to an educational disruption, allowing pupils to study material lost during the disturbance and assisting their reintegration into the official system. An integrative approach will be employed, including content from many learning areas to improve reading skills and develop awareness of values, health, and peace-related themes.
