SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna–The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) headed by Arvin P. Carandang retrofitted their motorcycles as quick-response vehicles to augment the firefighting capabilities of the city and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) particularly in narrow alleys and small roads at fastest possible response time.

Carandang  said fire rescue teams will be deployed in the high-risk areas which will buy time for the fire trucks to reach fire incidents if ever an incident escalates.

The modified motorcycles as fire-rescue on wheels are equipped with four (4) fire extinguishers and a first aid kit.

This initiative of the new CDRRMO chief is based on the directives of Mayor Najie B. Gapangada, Jr. for a safe and resilient city.
