HEAL THE SICK AND HELP THE POOR. Ang medical mission na itinaguod ng SM Foundation sa atrium ng SM City San Pablo noong nakaraang Miyerkoles, Pebrero 19, 2025, ay naging matagumpay na nakatulong sa mahigit sa 1,000 taga-lungsod at kanugnog na munisipyo, hindi lamang sa natugunang maipagkaloob ng SM Foundation ang lahat na kinakailangan gamot para sa iba’t ibang karamdamang, matapos na ang pasyente ay masuri ng mga kilalang medical practitioner dito sa Lungsod ng San Pablo, kundi dahil sa pakikipagtulungan ng mga kusang loob na tumugon sa hiling ng pangangasiwaan ng mall sa pangangasiwa nina (OIC) Mall Manager Edessa P. Sibug at Public Relations Manager Niña Pasco Wong. Ang diwa ng SM Foundation ay “Pagalingin ang maysakit at tulungan ng mga mahihirap.” Ang mga kasapi ng San Pablo City Medical Society sa pangunguna ni Dr. Alvin Joseph D. Mercado, Pangulo ng Lipunan ng mga Manggagamot, ang nagkaloob ng walang bayad na paglilingkod; ang mga nursing student sa Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo (PLSP), at ang clinical staff ng San Pablo City Red Cross Chapter ang kumuha ng vital information sa mga magsasangguni, samantalang ang mga kasapi ng San Pablo City Infinity 104 Lions Club sa pangunguna nina Charter President Ellen Nombrado, MJF, at Club President Jarilee I. Pascual, MJF ang nangasiwa sa administrative side ng medical mission, tulad ng pagtatala at pagkuha ng basic information sa mga dudulog para sumailalim ng pagsusuring medikal. (Ruben E. Taningco)
